We just heard a shocking story about the death of Bear-Bear, a husky in the USA who was shot and killed by an off-duty officer at a neighbourhood dog park. Apparently the officer thought that Bear-Bear was attacking his German Shepherd while the person with Bear-Bear said they were playing. We all know that huskies have a very physical manner of playing, and it could have been an unfortunate misunderstanding. No matter what happened, it's distressing to hear that someone resorted to a firearm. You can read more about the story here:

Wee have heard this story and it just makes us sick. The only good thing we can report is that it sounds like they are reopening the investigation after a lot of pressure was put on them. But the man that did this is just disgusting.
